Welt had firmly intended to apologize for crossing the line of what's appropriate and what's not with Dan Heng when he had entrusted him in such a vulnerable way, and yet, the regret dwindles each time he meets his gaze once more. Perhaps Welt's projecting his own feelings onto the other man, but Dan Heng almost always seems happier in their interactions.

Even if it's all in his head, Welt finds it impossible to regret their moment of intimacy together.

He's well aware that likely makes him a horrendous person, and he genuinely wishes he could bring himself to care, but alas, the only thoughts that matter when he's with the younger traveler is how stretched open and full he was when he impaled him on his cocks repeatedly.

Normally, he's at least able to table the thoughts of their shared time together for when he's in his chambers in solitude or somewhere private with Dan Heng. Today, though, for some unknown reason while he's sitting alone in the hub of the Astral Express, his mind wanders to those moments and the hand not curled around the handle of his cane rests almost protectively against his lower belly.

It's humiliating how swiftly Welt's presence comforts him.

And it's nothing... fluffy, or bubbly, or anything like that. But being around Welt ever since the night they'd spent together-- regardless of the intentions-- simply makes Dan Heng feel more at peace with himself than he has in a long time.

Consulting the archives tells him that this might be "love", and while he won't discount the existence of such a thing, part of Dan Heng suspects there might be something more at play. If he does love Welt, that's been a long time coming; love alone isn't what makes him feel so satisfied just being in the same room as him.

He'd intended to ask Pom-Pom about something when he left his room, he was sure. But as he enters the main lobby area and not only fails to see Pom-Pom, but catches Welt instead... there's that funny feeling again, rooting around inside of him. These days Dan Heng never realises how much tension is in his shoulders until seeing Welt calms him down again.

So, despite the clipboard in hand with what he must ask Pom-Pom, Dan Heng comes forward. His eyes briefly land on Welt's hand where it rests on his belly, but he swallows thickly and opts not to question it.

Instead: "Have Himeko and the rest not returned yet?"
